The initiative is part of the Global Network of Plastics Pacts launched in 2018 by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation in the United Kingdom.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-f4e2aac ); font-size: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-size ); text-align: var(--text-align);\">It is necessary to work jointly and articulately, generating collaboration and innovation to propose new ways of manufacturing, using, reusing and recycling plastics. It is urgent to address and prevent environmental problems, but at the same time the Pact invites us to take advantage of the enormous opportunity for value creation that is generated.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-f4e2aac ); font-size: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-size ); text-align: var(--text-align);\">Chile is the third country to implement the Plastics Pact, along with the United Kingdom and France, and is the first country in Latin America to join this Global Network in which they \u2014also\u2014 participate France, United Kingdom, Netherlands, South Africa, Portugal, United States, Poland, Canada and Kenya.
